Cibola Vista is a lovely resort that makes for a great extended stay, especially for families. The rooms are spacious and equipped with kitchens, but dining options are limited on-site. The grounds are well-maintained with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. However, service can be a hit or miss, especially during busy times.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were spacious and felt like a home away from home, featuring a full kitchen and a comfortable living space. The decor could use some updating, as the brown and orange tones felt a bit dated.
Service
6.0
While there were some friendly interactions, a few staff members seemed distracted and less attentive, which affected our experience at times.
Location
9.0
Located just north of Phoenix, Cibola Vista is perfectly situated for easy access to major highways and local attractions, making it convenient for day trips.
Dining
5.0
Dining options are quite limited, with just a bar offering appetizers by the pool, so definitely plan to utilize the kitchen in your room.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities are impressive with multiple pools, a fitness center, and activities for kids, making it a fun place for families.

5.8/10

I just returned from a family vacation at Cibola Vista, and while our stay had some highlights, there were also a few disappointments. The resort itself is beautiful and the pool area is fantastic for kids. However, our initial accommodations were misleading, as we were placed in a much smaller unit than expected, which impacted our comfort. Overall, while the property is well-kept and offers nice facilities, the surrounding area felt rather isolated and lacked activities nearby.

Rooms
6.0
We originally booked a one-bedroom suite but ended up in a mini suite that was quite cramped for four adults and a toddler. However, the units themselves were spacious with nice views of the mountains, which I appreciated.
Service
5.0
Staff was accommodating in some respects, but our experience was marred by their inability to rectify our room situation.
Location
5.0
The resort is located on the outskirts and honestly, there isn’t much to do directly around it. Most attractions are a 30-60 minute drive away, which made planning our outings a bit challenging.

Facilities

The pool area is a standout feature with plenty of space for kids to play. Additionally, the resort hosted daily activities that kept us entertained during our stay.

6.6/10

My stay was mixed; the resort had some fantastic features but also a few frustrating downsides. The room was spacious and well-equipped, but noise from neighbors was a major issue. Service at the front desk was friendly but fell short when it came to addressing noise complaints, and although the location provided a good range of facilities, I wish there were more dining options nearby. Overall, the resort had great potential as it offers nice amenities, but for short stays, it could be better.

Rooms
8.0
The one-bedroom apartment was extremely spacious and well-appointed, complete with a kitchen and all necessary amenities, though noise from adjacent rooms was bothersome.
Service
6.0
Service was generally pleasant, but my experience with noise complaints highlighted gaps in their responsiveness.
Location
7.0
The resort is a bit remote and requires a car to access nearby dining options, which can be inconvenient for short stays.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited, with only a food truck for breakfast, which is not ideal for guests seeking a substantial morning meal.
Facilities
7.0
The resort has good communal facilities, including well-maintained BBQ areas and a pool, but lacks comprehensive dining amenities.

7.6/10

The resort is a beautiful place with a well-kept pool area and convenient access to nearby restaurants and shops, making it a great option for family trips. However, I encountered some significant noise issues from neighboring guests, which undermined the relaxation I was looking for. While the staff was responsive, it was frustrating that my complaints weren't addressed more effectively until much later. Overall, it's a mixed experience with lovely facilities but serious concerns regarding noise control.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in a two-bedroom suite that was clean and comfortable, featuring a kitchen and in-room laundry, which made things super convenient. However, the layout was a bit odd and my room felt cramped with limited views.
Service
6.0
The staff was generally friendly and professional, addressing my concerns in a timely manner. But I felt they made assumptions about my group’s reservation that caused some initial confusion.
Location
9.0
The resort is perfectly situated for easy access to attractions in Phoenix, Scottsdale, and beyond, which made exploring the area a breeze.
Dining
8.0
Dining options nearby were great, allowing for delicious meals without needing to travel far.
Facilities
8.0
The pool area is large and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot for families. There are plenty of lounge chairs and activities for all ages, though it was quite hot during my visit.

Cibola Vista Resort is a well-kept and clean spot ideal for families. The amenities, such as the pools and activities, make it a great option for a fun vacation. However, the check-in process was disorganized and the beds were a bit too firm for our liking, which affected our sleep quality.

Rooms
8.0
We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom suite that was comfortably appointed and well-equipped. However, we found the beds to be overly firm.
Service
6.0
The check-in process was chaotic, as we were misdirected and didn’t receive adequate information about the facilities. I appreciated the $25 credit at the café, but the overall service experience could use improvement.
Location
7.0
While the resort is located a bit outside of Phoenix, there are dining options in a nearby shopping center. However, if you're looking for a lot of local attractions nearby, this might not be the best choice.
Dining
7.0
The snack bar by the adult pool had a limited menu, but we still managed to enjoy some meals at nearby restaurants, which were a short drive away.
Facilities
9.0
The resort offers great facilities including spacious pools for both kids and adults, and numerous daily activities which we enjoyed.
